A friend posted on her blog (I cannot link because it is private) that many people don't bother with New Year's Resolutions "because they recognize it as a hopeless exercise in futility."
My goto NY resolution was to be in a better place, "physically, mentally, spiritually, psychologically, etc".
I used to also "give up" my resolution for Lent. :-)
One thing I recently thought about is: you have all year to meet your NY Resolution. Unless it is oddly specific, i.e. I want to get my taxes filed by March 1st, you can start over as many times as it takes to get it done.

Comments Encouraged! And the nice thing about this blog is that I rarely get spam so don't need to moderate the comments.
I've set the comments up to allow anonymous users -- but I'd love it if you "signed" your comments (as some of my readers have done) just so you have an identity of sorts.
